Island QSL cards received

I have always been intrigued by islands and the more remote the better.  They represent more than just a DX entity, but history and people.  Thoughts about these islands will be added to this page from time to time.

St. Thomas, USVI

This is a QSL card from a world famous DX'er.  He operated form St. Thomas from 1927 until he became a silent key in 1982.

Kwajalein - Marshall Islands

One of the many things that makes ham radio special is being able to communicate with places you will never be able to visit in person.  I would love to set foot on such a remote place.

The K4M QSL card below is from a very unique place.  An interest in old War Birds and Islands has merged into studying WWII with a focus on the war in the Pacific.  Any research in this area must include Midway Island.
